KIDAPAWAN CITY – February 17, 2025 – Tricycle drivers and operators in Kidapawan City can now easily register their units with the Business Processing and Licensing Office (BPLO) through the newly implemented Tricycle Franchise Management System.
In the annual report presented during the Flag Raising Ceremony and Convocation Program of the City Local Government Unit (LGU), BPLO announced that 3,261 tricycle franchises have already been issued and are currently operating in the city.
The BPLO, in collaboration with the City Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Board (CTFRB) and the Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit (TMEU), is responsible for enforcing the Tricycle Franchise Management System. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency of franchise processing and ensure proper regulation of tricycle operations in the city.
The new system is expected to provide a more convenient and organized approach for tricycle drivers and operators, promoting better transport management and compliance with local regulations.
