KORONADAL CITY – A drug peddler was apprehended, and suspected shabu worth Php 170,000 was seized during a buy-bust operation conducted on February 17, 2025, in Purok Poticar, Barangay GPS, Koronadal City.
The operation was carried out by joint elements of the Koronadal City Police Station (CPS), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU) of South Cotabato Police Provincial Office (SCPPO), and the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 12, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The suspect, identified only as alias “Ton-ton,” a 46-year-old resident of Purok St. Gabriel, Barangay Zone 3, Koronadal City, was arrested at the scene. Authorities recovered six sachets of suspected shabu weighing 25 grams, with a National Standard Drug Price valuation of Php 170,000, along with Php 1,000 in marked buy-bust money.
The suspect and the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the Koronadal City Police Station for proper documentation and legal procedures.
