Provincial Director PCOL Wilbur M. Salaguste emphasized the importance of public cooperation in their campaign against illegal firearms.
“Let this accomplishment serve as a strong message that we will not tolerate the proliferation of illegal firearms. We urge the public to continue supporting our efforts by reporting any illegal activities and cooperating with law enforcement. Together, we can create a safer and more secure environment for everyone,” PCOL Salaguste said.
He further encouraged residents to remain proactive in their shared mission of community safety.
“If you know of anyone in possession of an unregistered or illegal firearm, I encourage you to report it to the authorities. Let us work together to prevent gun-related crimes and ensure a safer future for our families,” he added.
MORPPO continues to encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any criminal activities to authorities. With strengthened community engagement and law enforcement efforts, the police aim to curb illegal firearm possession and enhance overall security in Misamis Oriental.
