Maramag, Bukidnon – In a significant operation, personnel from the Maramag Municipal Police Station, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Alexander E. Eugenio, Officer-in-Charge, in collaboration with the Bukidnon 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, successfully conducted a joint drug buy-bust operation at Purok 4B, Sitio San Carlos, Kuya, Maramag, Bukidnon.

The operation led to the arrest of two individuals. The primary suspect, a 40-year-old male farmer, and his cohort, a 37-year-old unemployed female, both married and residents of Purok 4B, Sitio San Carlos, voluntarily submitted themselves during the operation.

Recovered from the scene were two fired cartridges of a .45 caliber firearm, two fired cartridges of a 9mm firearm, and 13 grams of suspected illegal drugs valued at Php 88,400.00. The authorities’ swift action ensured the seizure of these items, preventing further distribution of illegal substances in the area.

The arrested individuals, along with the confiscated evidence and recovered cartridges, were brought to the Maramag Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. The successful operation underscores the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat illegal drug activities and maintain peace in Bukidnon.
