Malaybalay City, Bukidnon — A joint operation led by the Malaybalay City Police Station (CPS) under the supervision of PLTCOL Joepet B. Paglinawan, Officer-in-Charge, resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug violator in Barangay Kalasungay, Malaybalay City, on Thursday.
The operation, conducted in coordination with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit (BUK PIU), 3rd Platoon 1004th Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 10, and Bukidnon Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 10, implemented a search and seizure warrant for a violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect, a 45-year-old male resident of Purok 3, Barangay Kalasungay, was arrested after authorities recovered 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php 340,000.
The confiscated evidence and the suspect were taken to the Malaybalay City Police Station for proper documentation and will be forwarded to the Provincial Forensic Unit for further qualitative and quantitative examination.
