Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City – The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11), led by PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, has announced the successful outcomes of its intensified Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted from December 21 to 30, 2024. These operations underscore the region’s unwavering efforts to combat crime and ensure peace and order in the Davao Region.

During the ten-day period, PRO 11 executed nine search warrants related to illegal drug cases and five search warrants against loose firearms. These initiatives highlight the region’s aggressive stance against illegal drugs and unregistered firearms.

In its fight against illegal drugs, PRO 11 carried out 111 operations, reinforcing its commitment to curbing drug-related activities in the region. In addition, the campaign against wanted criminals saw the arrest of 31 Most Wanted Persons and 83 Other Wanted Persons, demonstrating the effectiveness of PRO 11’s strategies in addressing high-profile cases.

The ongoing campaign against loose firearms resulted in the confiscation of 120 small arms across the region. While no light weapons were seized, the focus on small arms underscores PRO 11’s dedication to reducing gun-related crimes by disarming individuals who possess illegal weapons.

Meanwhile, operations against illegal gambling led to 15 successful raids, with violators apprehended. The enforcement of other special laws resulted in 46 cases, showcasing PRO 11’s comprehensive approach to combating various forms of criminality and promoting adherence to the law.

PBGEN Rosete lauded the dedication and professionalism of the police force and the support of the community in achieving these accomplishments. “Our success in these operations reflects our shared commitment to creating a safer environment for all. We remain steadfast in our mission to uphold the law and protect the people of the Davao Region,” he said.

PRO 11’s operations align with the directives of the Chief of the Philippine National Police, PGEN Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, emphasizing proactive and collaborative approaches to law enforcement. These achievements during the holiday season attest to the effectiveness of PRO 11’s strategies and the resolve of its personnel.

As the year concludes, PRO 11 remains committed to enhancing its anti-criminality efforts in 2025, ensuring the continuous safety and well-being of the Davao Region’s communities.
