Acting on intelligence reports, the operation led to the seizure of 261 master cases, 314 reams, and 33 packs of assorted smuggled cigarettes, valued at approximately Php 15,318,926.00. Authorities also arrested a 25-year-old male suspect at the scene.
The operation was spearheaded by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of ZSBPPO, with support from PNP MARPSTA, Kabasalan MPS, Siay MPS, and the ZSB 2nd PMFC.
“This operation sends a strong message that ZSBPPO and our partners are committed to protecting the integrity of our province and ensuring the safety and security of our communities,” said PCOL Barnard Danie V. Dasugo, ZSBPPO Provincial Director.

The confiscated items are now under the custody of the Bureau of Customs for proper disposition, while charges against the suspect are being prepared.
