Manila, Philippines – The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) officially filed its Manifestation of Intent to Participate today, November 8, 2024, with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), marking their entry into the upcoming 2025 BARMM (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) Parliamentary Elections. This filing signifies the UBJP’s official participation as one of the Regional Parliamentary Political Parties (RPPP) in the BARMM.

UBJP President Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim, who also leads as the party’s primary nominee, spearheaded the formal submission of the required documents. Included in the filing were the Certificates of Acceptance of Nomination, each accompanied by an Affidavit of Non-Affinity from every nominee. Additionally, the party provided a complete list of nominees, underscoring the UBJP’s commitment to women’s representation in the Bangsamoro Parliament, with 30% or twelve of the party’s nominees coming from the women’s sector.
