Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur — The 1st Civil-Military Operations (Kaakibat) Company, 6CMO Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment of the Philippine Army, in partnership with the 601st Infantry (Unifier) Brigade, 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division, hosted a groundbreaking event to foster collaboration between the government and local content creators. The Partnership-Building and Pre-Orientation Seminar, themed “Working Together for a Peaceful and Secure Bangsamoro,” was held on November 25, 2024, at the Alamid Convention Garden.
The event brought together approximately 30 content creators from Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte, emphasizing their pivotal role in promoting peace and development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The seminar aimed to harness social media’s potential to amplify government initiatives and inspire public participation in peace-building efforts.

The program featured engaging talks from distinguished speakers, including:
- CPT Jaafar D. Abdul (INF) PA, who discussed the Whole-of-Nation Approach (WONA).
- 2LT Mercipol M. Zainodin (INF) PA, who shared strategies for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism.
- Mr. Khomaidee U. Abo, from the Ministry of Public Safety (MPOS-BARMM), who highlighted programs for peace, order, and safety.
- Mr. Amirodin Gani, a prominent content creator and security professional, who delivered an impactful lecture on “Vlogging with Purpose.”
The seminar underscored the role of content creators in showcasing BARMM’s rich culture, diversity, and progress, inspiring participants to create meaningful digital content aligned with peace and development goals.

Renowned vlogger Datu Khominie Bansuan Kamsa, celebrated as the “King of Moro Song,” inspired participants to collaborate and create content that promotes unity and development. Mr. Amirodin Gani encouraged vloggers to embrace mission-driven content creation, sharing practical insights to enhance their craft while contributing to societal growth. He urged them to use their influence to foster understanding and inspire positive change in the Bangsamoro Region.
