Kidapawan City, November 14, 2024 — For the seventh consecutive time, Kidapawan City has proudly earned the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for 2024, marking yet another milestone in the city’s commitment to transparent and efficient public service. The prestigious award, given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), celebrates the excellence of local government units (LGUs) across the Philippines in upholding effective governance.
Kidapawan City stands among 714 recipients of the award this year, alongside 41 provinces, 577 municipalities, and 96 cities nationwide. This recognition comes as part of the SGLG’s tenth anniversary, an initiative aimed at promoting accountability, community-centered development, and sustainable progress across all LGUs in the country.
