October 8, Lanao del Sur – United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) candidates Rolan Abdul Rashid “Fiat” Macarambon and Marjanie S. M. Macasalong have officially filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for the 2025 elections. Macarambon is running for Governor of Lanao del Sur, while Macasalong seeks the position of Vice Governor under the UBJP banner.
Accompanying them was Atty. Paisalin Tago, UBJP’s candidate for congressman, along with several candidates for the Provincial Board, mayors, vice mayors, and councilors from various municipalities in Lanao del Sur.
Supporters and party members demonstrated their backing for the candidates in a grand caravan and parade, with hundreds of vehicles joining the procession. The parade was a powerful show of unity, as participants carried party flags and banners, symbolizing hope and change for the province. The enthusiastic crowd signaled strong trust in the UBJP platform and its candidates, who aim to prioritize the welfare of Lanao del Sur’s residents.
Macarambon and Macasalong expressed heartfelt gratitude to their supporters and reiterated their commitment to bringing genuine change and unity to the province. The UBJP candidates emphasized that their leadership aims to steer Lanao del Sur toward progress and justice, while focusing on providing improved public services, particularly to the grassroots communities.
