A teacher was arrested during a joint manhunt operation conducted by the Iligan City Police on October 4, 2024, in Barangay Dalipuga, Iligan City.
The suspect, identified as “Sotic,” a 53-year-old unmarried male teacher and resident of the area, was apprehended by the Iligan Police Tracker Team led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad O. Sanihin, Chief of the Iligan City Intelligence Unit and Iligan City Police Station 3.
The suspect faces charges for violating Section 5(b) of Republic Act 7610, which pertains to Acts of Lasciviousness involving minors.
The Iligan Police emphasized their commitment to capturing wanted individuals in order to maintain peace and safety within the community.
