Arrest of Wanted Person in Relation to SACLEO

Gingoog City, Philippines – In a significant operation, the tracker team of the 1st MOR Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), under the leadership of PLTCOL Ariel Philip I. Pontillas, successfully executed an existing warrant of arrest. This led to the apprehension of a wanted individual charged with multiple serious offenses.

The suspect faced charges for:

  • Rape (1st Count) with Criminal Case No. 2024-9459
  • Rape (3rd Count) with Criminal Case No. 2024-9461
  • Child Abuse, punishable under Section 10(A) of RA 7610, the Anti-Child Abuse Law, with Criminal Case No. 2024-9458

These charges were issued and signed by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Gingoog City on June 3, 2024. While no bail was recommended for the rape charges, a bail bond of Php 80,000.00 was set for the child abuse charge.
