General Santos City – A law enforcement operation conducted on March 14, 2025, at around 2:26 PM in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, led to the arrest of four individuals and the rescue of a female minor for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation, executed at Purok 13, Block 7, Lot 3, was carried out by multiple police units, including personnel from Police Station 7 of the General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO), the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12 (RMFB12) Tactical Support Company, RMFB 1201st Company, STT Bravo-RID 12, CMFC/SWAT-GSCPO, CIU-GSCPO, and Gensan MARPSTA. The operation was supervised by PMAJ Ari Noel H. Cardos, Station Commander of PS7, and led by PLT Joey G. Labasan, Deputy Station Commander.

The raid was conducted in accordance with Search Warrant No. 25-50, issued on March 13, 2025, against an individual known as Alias Jun, a resident of the area. However, the suspect was not present during the operation. Instead, four individuals were found on the premises and subsequently arrested:

  • Alias Ton
  • Alias Le
  • Alias Mar
  • One female minor (rescued)

Confiscated Evidence

From Alias Ton, authorities recovered:

  • A brown wallet containing four (4) small plastic sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 0.6 grams and valued at Php 5,160.00.
  • A gray sling bag containing:
    • One (1) Magnum .357 caliber revolver with a loaded cylinder holding two (2) live rounds.
    • One (1) plastic bottle with four (4) improvised tooters.

Inside Alias Jun’s occupied room, law enforcement seized:

  • One (1) small black pouch containing:
    • Two (2) medium plastic sachets of suspected shabu.
    • One (1) small rectangular plastic sachet of suspected shabu.
    • Total weight: approximately 8.00 grams, valued at Php 68,800.00.

Legal Actions and Processing

Following the inventory, all confiscated items were transported to Police Station 7 for proper documentation. The seized drugs, firearm, and ammunition will undergo laboratory testing, ballistic examination, and cross-matching at the General Santos City Forensic Unit.

Meanwhile, the rescued minor was turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for assessment and appropriate legal proceedings.

Criminal complaints for violations of Sections 11 and 12, Article II of RA 9165 are currently being prepared against the arrested individuals.

Police Station 7 has assured the public that human rights were upheld throughout the operation and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and order in the community.
