The surrender was facilitated by personnel from the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Provincial Intelligence Unit, and Lebak Municipal Police Station, all under the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office (SKPPO). PBGEN Ardiente emphasized that the surrender marks a significant achievement in the government’s ongoing efforts to address insurgency in the region. “The surrender of a CTG member in Region 12 is a clear sign that we’ve managed to win back the trust of the people who had lost confidence in the government, doing so in the most effective and efficient way possible,” he stated.
Authorities continue to encourage other members of insurgent groups to return to the fold of the law, assuring them of the government’s commitment to peaceful reintegration and support.
