In a symbolic gesture of unity and development, Governor Abdulraof Macacua officially turned over a fleet of coaster buses to the component municipalities of Maguindanao del Norte in a ceremony held on Monday at the Municipal Gymnasium of Sultan Mastura.
The ceremonial turnover marked a significant milestone for the province as the newly donated coaster buses aim to address the transportation needs of various municipalities, fostering improved mobility and connectivity across Maguindanao del Norte. The event was attended by municipal officials, local leaders, and community members who celebrated the occasion with gratitude and optimism.

Governor Macacua emphasized the importance of the donation, stating that the coaster buses represent the commitment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to prioritize infrastructure and accessibility in the region. He further expressed hope that the vehicles would contribute to economic development and social integration within the province.
“These coaster buses are more than just vehicles; they symbolize progress and unity among our municipalities. By improving transportation, we are strengthening our connection as a community and opening opportunities for growth and collaboration,” Governor Macacua said during his speech.
Each municipality received a dedicated coaster bus, which will be utilized for various purposes, including educational trips, medical missions, and other community-based activities. The initiative is part of BARMM’s broader strategy to enhance public services and infrastructure, reflecting its commitment to the welfare of its constituents.

Mayor Salik Mastura of Sultan Mastura commended the provincial government’s efforts, saying, “This is a clear demonstration of how our leaders prioritize the needs of our people.
