As part of the 89th Anniversary celebration of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), a series of Thanksgiving activities was held in CARAGA and Northern Mindanao to foster gratitude, peace, and unity.
On November 20, a Thanksgiving event was hosted by the CARAGA Satellite Office in Poblacion, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. During the program, I delivered a heartfelt message emphasizing forgiveness, generosity, and love, especially as we approach the holiday season. I underscored the importance of peace and security in our communities and reminded everyone that achieving this goal requires the collective effort of all Filipinos.
I extend my deepest gratitude to Governor Angel Amante and the local government officials for their warm reception and unwavering support for OVP programs. Their partnership inspires us to continue serving the Filipino people with dedication and compassion.
Similarly, on November 15, I joined our fellow citizens in Gingoog City for another Thanksgiving event. I conveyed my heartfelt thanks and highlighted the transformative power of education in improving lives. I also encouraged the community to support advocacies promoting peace and security as vital elements of development.
The holiday season brings an opportunity to reflect on the values of love, forgiveness, and gratitude. I am deeply touched by the overwhelming support and warmth extended to me and the OVP during these celebrations. Your encouragement fuels my commitment to honest and compassionate service.
To the local government of Gingoog City, thank you for your invaluable support and hospitality. As always, everything we do is for God, the nation, and every Filipino family. Together, let us continue working towards a peaceful and prosperous Philippines.
