Ozamiz City — Authorities arrested a Top 10 provincial drug personality and a high-value individual (HVI) listed under the Regional PNP-PDEA Unified Target List during separate search warrant operations conducted in Barangay Embargo on the morning of May 25, 2026.

The operations were jointly carried out by the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency through the Ozamiz City Police Station, led by Police Major Agustine G. Arazo, together with various anti-drug and law enforcement units.

Arrested in the first operation was alias “Anacleto,” 45 years old, identified by authorities as a Top 10 provincial drug personality and a member of the PNP-PDEA Unified Target List.

Police implemented Search Warrant No. 08-2026 for violation of Republic Act No. 10591 at Purok 1, Barangay Embargo, where authorities confiscated a caliber .45 pistol, one magazine, seven rounds of ammunition, and other firearm paraphernalia from the suspect.

In a separate implementation of Search Warrant No. 09-2026 for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, authorities recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than two grams with an estimated standard drug price of ₱13,600.

Meanwhile, another operation in the same barangay led to the arrest of alias “Jaylord,” tagged by authorities as a high-value individual and included in the Regional PNP-PDEA Unified Target List.

During the implementation of Search Warrant No. 10-2026 issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 35 in Ozamiz City, law enforcers seized five sachets of suspected shabu along with a zip-lock plastic sachet allegedly used as a container for illegal drugs.

Police said the confiscated illegal drugs weighed more than eight grams with an estimated street value of ₱54,400.

Combined, authorities seized more than 10 grams of suspected shabu worth approximately ₱68,000 during the operations.

Both suspects are now under the custody of the Ozamiz City Police Station pending proper disposition and the filing of criminal charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165 and Republic Act No. 10591.

Authorities said the successful operations form part of the continuing intensified anti-illegal drug campaign in Ozamiz City and the wider province of Misamis Occidental aimed at dismantling the operations of identified drug personalities in the region.
