MALAYBALAY CITY, BUKIDNON — An 18-year-old male was found lifeless inside his grandparents’ home in Purok 3, Barangay Casisang, late Wednesday afternoon, December 10, 2025.
According to investigators, the victim was discovered around 5:00 p.m. inside his room with a rope around his neck. Responding police officers from the Malaybalay City Police Station reported no signs of foul play based on their initial assessment, suggesting the possibility of self-harm linked to emotional distress or depression.
Relatives shared that the young man was known to be quiet and often preferred isolation. He was last seen alive around 2:00 p.m. on December 9 before his body was discovered by his grandfather the following day. The remains have been brought to the Villanueva Funeral Parlor for proper handling.
