COTABATO CITY — A man listed as a Regional Target was arrested during a joint buy-bust operation in Purok 2, Barangay Kilikili East, Wao, Lanao del Sur, on Friday, November 22, 2025.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–BARMM Lanao del Sur Provincial Office, with operational support from the Wao Municipal Police Station and the 1st Police Mobile Force Company of the Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office, launched the sting operation that led to the suspect’s arrest.
Authorities confiscated three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 15 grams. The seized illegal drugs have an estimated standard drug value of ₱102,000, along with marked buy-bust money.
PDEA-BARMM Regional Director Benjamin C. Recites III identified the arrested suspect as alias “Allan,” 41, male, and registered as a Regional Target Listed (RTL) personality. He is currently detained at the PDEA-BARMM Jail Facility pending inquest proceedings.
The suspect is set to face charges for violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
