KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — At least 60 motorcycles and tricycles without license plates or proper registration papers were seized during a citywide “Oplan Galugad” operation conducted by the Koronadal City Police Station in coordination with the 1st South Cotabato Police Mobile Force Company (SCPMFC) on Monday night, November 10, 2025.

The operation was personally led by Koronadal City Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Peter L. Pinalgan Jr., who emphasized that the intensified campaign seeks to ensure the safety and orderliness of motorists in the city.

According to police, the activity forms part of their continuous crackdown against kolorum or unregistered vehicles, some of which are suspected of being used in criminal activities. The seized vehicles were brought to the police station for verification and documentation.

The police chief reiterated that unregistered vehicles pose not only administrative concerns but also security risks, as they can easily be used in illegal operations without being traced.

The Koronadal City Police has urged the public to comply with registration requirements and maintain complete and legal documents for their vehicles to avoid penalties or confiscation.

Authorities assured that similar operations will continue in the coming weeks as part of efforts to maintain peace and order across South Cotabato’s capital city.
