Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat – June 1, 2025 — Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) intensified its campaign against illegal drugs, leading to the arrest of a suspected street-level drug peddler during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Daladap, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat on May 31.
The joint operation was carried out by personnel from the Esperanza Municipal Police Station and the 2nd Sultan Kudarat Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd SKPMFC), both under the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office (SKPPO). Authorities apprehended a 41-year-old suspect, known only by the alias “Anter,” a resident of Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
During the operation, law enforcers seized three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 10 grams and a street value of ₱68,000, along with the marked ₱500 buy-bust money.
The suspect and the confiscated items were brought to the Esperanza police station for proper documentation and disposition, following standard police procedures.
PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of PRO 12, emphasized the continued dedication of law enforcement in addressing the drug problem in the region.
“This operation reflects the continuous efforts of our units to address illegal drug activities in the region through lawful and coordinated actions. We remain committed to performing our mandate in support of public safety and in accordance with the rule of law,” Ardiente said.
