According to Police Colonel April Mark C. Young, Provincial Director of the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (ADNPPO), the drug enforcement unit of RTR MPS, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Agusan del Norte, conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of an 18-year-old male suspect, identified only by the alias “Paring.” The suspect is a laborer and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Panaytayon, RTR. He is categorized as a Street-Level Individual in the illegal drug trade.

Witnesses from the Department of Justice, local media, and barangay officials were present during the operation to ensure transparency and compliance with legal procedures.

“By removing this suspect from our streets, we have undoubtedly made a positive impact in the community,” PCOL Young stated. “The RTR MPS action has helped to disrupt the flow of illegal drugs, prevent potential harm to individuals, and send a clear message that the Agusan del Norte Cops will not tolerate such illicit trade within the province.”

The operation forms part of the ongoing campaign of the Philippine National Police to eradicate illegal drugs and safeguard communities across the region.
