MANOLO FORTICH, Bukidnon — A Regional Target Listed (RTL) drug personality was arrested during a successful anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by joint law enforcement authorities in Barangay Tankulan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon on May 6, 2026.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Ombra,” 59, and a resident of Purok Upper Susohon, Barangay Tankulan, was apprehended at around 6:40 a.m. during a carefully planned buy-bust operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA-10) Bukidnon Provincial Office.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit–Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Team of the Philippine National Police and the Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station.
Authorities described the arrest as a significant accomplishment in the government’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs, noting that the operation dealt a serious blow to the local drug network operating in the area.
Recovered from the suspect were five sachets containing suspected shabu in various sizes with a total estimated weight of 16 grams and an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of PHP 102,000.
Also seized during the operation were a cigarette pack, a coin purse allegedly used as a container for illegal drugs, a brown wallet, a disposable lighter, a driver’s license, and the marked buy-bust money used in the operation.
Law enforcement authorities said the suspect will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which penalizes the sale and possession of illegal drugs.
Officials emphasized that the successful operation reflects the strengthened coordination among anti-drug agencies and local police units in intensifying efforts to dismantle drug syndicates and maintain peace and order in communities across Northern Mindanao.
PDEA and its partner agencies reiterated their commitment to sustaining aggressive anti-drug operations as part of the broader campaign to create safer and drug-free communities.
