December 13, 2025 | MINPRSD Regional Weather Update

Mindanao residents can expect a generally warm but unstable weather pattern throughout the day as the Easterlies continue to dominate the region, according to the 5:00 AM regional weather forecast issued by PAGASA MINPRSD. The weather bureau reports partly cloudy to cloudy skies across Mindanao, punctuated by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon or evening.

PAGASA cautions that while rains may be brief and localized, severe thunderstorms can trigger flash floods or landslides, particularly in low-lying or mountainous areas. Winds will blow light to moderate from the northeast, resulting in slight to moderate seas ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters, conditions still considered safe for most sea travel.
