LAMBAYONG, Sultan Kudarat — Another deadly shooting has added to the growing list of killings in the province after two brothers were shot dead while on their way home late Friday night, December 12, in Barangay Udtong, Lambayong.

The victims were identified as brothers Jomar Anas and Ariel Anas, both residents of the barangay. Initial information revealed that the siblings had just finished watching a basketball game when they were suddenly ambushed and shot by still unidentified assailants along their route home.

The brutal killing sparked outrage online, with relatives, friends, and concerned residents taking to social media to condemn the attack and demand justice for the victims. “Hustisya” has become the rallying cry of the Anas family, as grief and anger spread across the community over what many describe as yet another senseless act of violence.

As of this writing, the suspects remain at large. Authorities have yet to release details on the motive behind the attack or whether the victims were the intended targets. Police are conducting an investigation and are coordinating with witnesses in an effort to identify and track down those responsible.
