CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — A parking boy who is also a person with disability (PWD) was wounded after he was shot by an unidentified assailant along Macahambus-Velez Street, Barangay 16, on Saturday night, November 15, 2025, around 8:00 p.m.
The victim, identified only as alias “Kimpang”, also known to some residents as Christopher, was assisting motorists near a restaurant when the shooting unfolded.
According to the initial investigation of Police Station 1 under PCpt. Jover Soria, a witness reported hearing three gunshots before seeing the victim fall to the ground. Police said the victim and the suspect were earlier involved in a heated argument.
The gunman immediately fled the scene after the attack.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police units have since launched a hot pursuit operation to track down the suspect. Investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage and gathering additional witness accounts to determine the motive and identify the assailant.
Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to coordinate with Police Station 1 to aid in the ongoing investigation.
