MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon — A 22-year-old man was found lifeless inside his home in Purok 5, Casisang, Malaybalay City, on Saturday, October 26, 2025, in what authorities believe to be a case of suicide.

According to initial investigation, family members discovered the victim already unresponsive and immediately tried to revive him, but their efforts were in vain. Police said the exact reason behind the victim’s tragic decision remains unknown as investigations continue.

The incident has once again highlighted the urgent need to prioritize mental health awareness, especially among young people silently battling depression, anxiety, and emotional distress.

Authorities appealed to the public to be more attentive to the mental well-being of their loved ones. They also urged those who may be struggling emotionally to seek help from family, friends, or mental health professionals.
