Digos City, Davao del Sur — A groom who was supposed to tie the knot on Friday has gone missing after reportedly leaving home to eat lunch the day before his wedding.
The missing man was identified as Edzel Dave Eno, a resident of Dawis, Digos City, who has not returned home since 12 noon on October 23, 2025 (Thursday). According to his sister, Irishgail Eno, Edzel told them he was going out to eat but never came back.
His civil wedding was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on October 24 (Friday), but the ceremony did not push through after he failed to show up. Family members said the last time he was seen, he was riding his white and black Raider motorcycle.
Concerned relatives are now appealing to the public for any information that may help locate Edzel. Anyone who may have seen him is urged to report immediately to the nearest authorities or contact his family to help bring him home safely.
As of this writing, the family continues their search and prays for Edzel’s safe return, hoping that the mysterious disappearance of the “runaway groom” will soon come to a peaceful resolution.
