JOLO, Sulu (June 15, 2025) — Authorities in Jolo, Sulu scored a significant victory against smuggling after intercepting ₱148,000 worth of suspected smuggled cigarettes during a checkpoint operation in Barangay Tulay.
The seizure occurred in Zone 3 when personnel from the Jolo Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the 1404th-B Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 14-B (RMFB 14-B), observed a red Mitsubishi Pajero (plate number GNS 781) abruptly park several meters from the checkpoint.
