Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte – May 4, 2025

To strengthen security measures for the upcoming elections, 105 personnel from the Special Electoral Board (SEB) of Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) arrived at the Tactical Operations Group 12 (TOG12) at Awang Airport, Datu Odin Sinsuat (DOS), Maguindanao del Norte, on Sunday afternoon.

Led by PCOL Eleuterio M. Ricardo Jr., Provincial Director of the Maguindanao del Norte Police Provincial Office (MDN PPO), the local police force formally welcomed the PRO2 contingent at around 1:30 PM. The deployment is part of ongoing efforts to ensure secure, accurate, free, and fair elections, particularly in Datu Odin Sinsuat.

Key personnel from the MDN PPO were present during the arrival, including PLTCOL Sainodin N. Benasing, Chief of POU; PCPT Arman C. Baclayon, Chief of PSS ROD; PCPT Victor B. Malasi, Assistant Chief of POU; PCPT Felmor G. Estosane, Team Leader of the 2nd PMFC; and PLT Carlo C. Mahinay, Team Leader Escort and Deputy Chief of Police of DOS MPS.

The contingent was immediately given a briefing and orientation by PCOL Ricardo to establish operational coordination and situational awareness ahead of their deployment to designated staging areas.

A courtesy lunch at the airport terminal, hosted through the efforts of the Regional Community Defense (RCD) PRO Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and the Maguindanao del Norte PPO, offered the arriving personnel time to rest and regroup before proceeding to their assignments.

The MDN PPO reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and order throughout the electoral process and expressed full support for the SEB contingent in creating a secure environment for voters and election officials alike.
