The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII has officially kicked off the 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Award (LTIA) Regional Evaluation. Among those undergoing the rigorous assessment is the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Morales, which earlier emerged as the winner in the City Level Evaluation.
Joining DILG XII in the evaluation process are representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Philippine National Police (PNP), Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB), and various Civil Society Organizations. The evaluation focuses on several key aspects, including the lupon’s efficiency in operations, effectiveness in securing amicable settlements, creativity and resourcefulness, adequacy of facilities for Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) activities, as well as the financial and non-financial support it receives.
Present during the evaluation were City Mayor Atty. Eliordo U. Ogena, DILG South Cotabato Provincial Director Hayd Ali Suwaib, City Local Government Operations Officer Jennifer Fernandez, and the officials and staff of the Barangay Morales Local Government Unit led by Barangay Captain Dimson Floro.
The barangay that emerges as the top performer in the regional evaluation will earn the honor of representing Region XII in the upcoming national level of the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Award.
