Tupi, South Cotabato – In a decisive operation against lawlessness and criminality, the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) successfully apprehended a Top 10 Most Wanted Person at the regional level in an operation conducted on March 13, 2025, in Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Kablon, Tupi, South Cotabato.
The joint law enforcement effort involved personnel from the Tupi Municipal Police Station (MPS), South Cotabato Police Provincial Office (SCPPO) – Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), South Cotabato Provincial Force Unit (SCPFU), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 12 (CIDG 12), Regional Special Operations Group 12 (RSOG 12), 1205th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12 (RMFB 12), and Regional Intelligence Division 12 (RID 12). The team successfully served the Warrant of Arrest against the suspect, identified as alias “Jung-Jung,” a 40-year-old resident of the area.
The arrest was executed by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violating Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Following the operation, the accused was taken into custody at the Tupi Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and legal proceedings.
PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of PRO 12, reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in the SOCCSKSARGEN region. “PRO 12 remains steadfast in its commitment to bringing criminals to justice and ensuring a safer community for the people of SOCCSKSARGEN,” he stated.
Authorities continue to encourage the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in reporting criminal activities to sustain the region’s intensified anti-crime efforts.
