GENERAL SANTOS CITY – In a continued effort to combat the illegal drug trade, operatives of the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) arrested a drug suspect and seized P171,360 worth of illegal drugs in a police operation conducted on March 11, 2025, in Nursery Road, Purok 25, Barangay Lagao, General Santos City.
The suspect, identified as alias “Emerson,” 47, single, and jobless, is a resident of Guijo Street, Balite, Barangay Lagao. He was apprehended by a joint team composed of personnel from Police Station 3, the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (CPDEU), the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) of the General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO), and the 1201st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 12, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 12.
Authorities confiscated six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing a total of 25.2 grams, along with a cellular phone and other personal belongings. The estimated value of the seized illegal substances was placed at P171,360.
Following standard procedures, the arrested suspect and the confiscated evidence were taken to Police Station 3, GSCPO for proper documentation and disposition.
