Aleosan, Cotabato – An intensified anti-criminality operation led by the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) resulted in the arrest of a drug suspect, the confiscation of a firearm, and the seizure of suspected shabu worth Php 54,000.00 in Sitio Mampurok, Barangay Dualing, Aleosan, Cotabato, on February 13, 2025.
The successful operation was carried out by joint operatives from multiple police units, including the Aleosan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), 2nd Cotabato Police Mobile Force Company (CPMFC), Regional Intelligence Division (RID 12), 1203rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12, Provincial Investigation Team (PIT) North Cotabato, Regional Intelligence Unit 12, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) North Cotabato, and the Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU) North Cotabato.
Authorities implemented a search warrant against a 23-year-old suspect known by the alias “Junie,” a resident of Sitio Mampurok. The operation led to the recovery of a Colt M1911A1 US Caliber .45 pistol, a magazine loaded with four live ammunition, a holster, and three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 8 grams, with a National Standard Drug Price of Php 54,400.00.
The suspect and all confiscated items are now under the custody of the Aleosan MPS for proper documentation and legal proceedings.
