Malaybalay City, Philippines – Authorities seized Php136,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Purok 6, Barangay Magsaysay, Malaybalay City, on February 8, 2025. Three drug suspects were apprehended in the operation.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Joepet Paglinawan, Officer-In-Charge of the Malaybalay City Police Station, identified the suspects as alias “Tim,” 42 years old; alias “Bert,” 28 years old and a driver; and alias “Mark,” 34 years old and also a driver. All suspects are residents of the area.
Confiscated from the suspects were 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 20 grams, with a Standard Drug Price of Php136,000. Various drug paraphernalia were also recovered during the operation.
The suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
The Philippine National Police reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying the campaign against illegal drugs to ensure public safety and security.
