Davao City, Philippines – In a move to enhance public safety and law enforcement efforts, the City Government of Davao turned over nine mobile patrol units and four motorcycles to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

The official blessing of the newly acquired vehicles was conducted by Rev. Fr. Bong Gonzaga, joined by DCPO officials and representatives from the city government. The initiative aims to bolster the city’s peace and order programs by improving police mobility and response time.
This recent handover follows a similar initiative on December 27, 2024, when the city government provided additional resources to the DCPO. That donation included five disaster trucks, four 4×4 vehicles, and four fiber boats, further strengthening the city’s disaster response and law enforcement capabilities.
City officials reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the police force through continuous investment in modern equipment and infrastructure. The newly deployed vehicles are expected to significantly contribute to crime prevention, emergency response, and overall public security in Davao City.
Authorities expressed their gratitude to the city government for its unwavering support, emphasizing that these new assets will be instrumental in maintaining safety and order throughout the community.
