Villa Sofia, Tanglad, Sta. Maria – The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU 11), in coordination with the Sta. Maria Municipal Police Station, successfully apprehended the Top 1 Municipal High-Value Drug Personality during a buy-bust operation conducted on November 22, 2024.
Police Major Maynard D. Pascual, Chief of RPDEU 11, identified the suspect as “Arjed,” a 43-year-old farmer and resident of the said barangay.
Confiscated from the suspect were approximately 4.6 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php 31,280.
The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
The Police Regional Office 11 emphasized its commitment not only to reducing crime and maintaining peace and order but also to strengthening community-police cooperation. The initiative aims to foster closer collaboration between the public and law enforcement to ensure safety and security across the region.
