A man was killed on the spot after being gunned down by unidentified assailants on Tuesday morning, November 20, in Sitio Pansol, Barangay Tambunan, Guindulungan, Maguindanao del Sur.
According to initial reports, the victim, who remains unidentified, was riding a “payong-payong” motorcycle while transporting gold items for sale. He was suddenly attacked and shot multiple times by unknown perpetrators.
Authorities disclosed that the victim was a resident of Dapiawan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur. Meanwhile, the motorcycle’s driver managed to survive the incident.
The Guindulungan police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the victim and to identify and apprehend the suspects involved.
