High-Value Individual Arrested in Search Warrant Operation in Kidapawan City

KIDAPAWAN CITY, Cotabato Province—A high-value individual was apprehended during a search warrant operation conducted by the police in Barangay Poblacion on November 17, 2024.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Dominador L. Palgan Jr., Chief of the Kidapawan City Police Station, identified the suspect as “Din,” a 46-year-old farmer and resident of the area.

According to PLtCol Palgan Jr., the operation, conducted at around 12:30 a.m., led to the confiscation of the following items:

  • 5.02 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php34,136;
  • 2.35 grams of marijuana worth Php500;
  • One unit of a .22-caliber revolver;
  • 11 rounds of .357-caliber ammunition; and
  • An improvised weather tooter.

The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
