Tupi, South Cotabato — Police from the Tupi Police Station responded swiftly after receiving a call from a concerned citizen about suspicious, unattended boxes spotted at a waiting shed in Purok Candelaria, Barangay Poblacion. The incident was reported around 7:20 p.m. on November 4, 2024.
Upon investigation, the responding patrol team and duty investigator discovered 100 reams of VX FULL FLAVOR cigarettes inside the boxes, suspected to be smuggled goods. Authorities are continuing their investigation to trace the origin of the contraband and identify potential recipients. This operation is part of their ongoing campaign against smuggling activities in the region.
