Police Regional Office-BAR Extends Aid to Typhoon Kristine Victims with Food Donation

October 24, 2024, Quezon City — In a heartfelt display of solidarity and support, the Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO BAR), led by Regional Director PBGEN Romeo J. Macapaz, has donated essential food items to victims of Typhoon Kristine. The donation aims to address immediate food needs for those affected by the recent severe storm that impacted several regions across the country.

Representing PBGEN Macapaz, PLTCOL Rafael D. Lero, OIC of the RCD, handed over the donation to PLTCOL Dinah D. Colminero, OIC of the Operations Management Division, Police Community Affairs and Development Group (PCADG), at the PNP Food Bank located in the Child Development Center, Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City.

The donation includes basic food necessities, such as rice, instant coffee, canned goods, powdered milk, biscuits and crackers, chicken and beef-flavored noodles, and bottled water, providing vital support to the storm-stricken communities struggling to meet basic needs.

The personnel of PRO BAR have come together in a spirit of bayanihan to aid in recovery efforts, showing their commitment to national relief initiatives. As government agencies work to hasten recovery and mitigate the impact of Typhoon Kristine, PRO BAR’s contribution underscores the role of community support and partnership in responding to crises.
