Zamboanga City – As of 9 AM today, September 14, 2024, there have been no cancellations of trips via land, air, or sea, according to reports from the Integrated Bus Terminal, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), and Coast Guard-Zamboanga station. Despite the ongoing flooding, authorities are continuously monitoring their respective areas of responsibility, with quick response teams on standby for possible dispatch or deployment.
The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) response teams, including personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), are closely monitoring the situation in rivers and low-lying areas such as San Jose Gusu and Tumaga. The water level at the Pasonanca diversionary weir has reached 74.8 meters, which is above the critical level of 74.20 meters.
