City Mobile Force Company Condemns the Killing of Patrolman Benjamin D. Difuntorum III

The City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) has unequivocally condemned the tragic killing of Patrolman Benjamin D. Difuntorum III, who was slain during a hot pursuit operation that resulted in the neutralization of two armed suspects at Coronel Compound, Purok Masagana, Barangay Baluan, General Santos City. The CMFC has expressed its strong commitment to pursuing justice and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night, led to the immediate deaths of three individuals due to gunshot wounds. The General Santos City Police Office was in pursuit of two suspects involved in the killing of city resident Didith Alejandria when the shootout ensued.

According to an initial report from the Police Regional Office-12 on Thursday, Patrolman Benjamin Donton Defunturom III was killed in the incident. The two armed suspects, identified as Jessie Semina and an alias Tagre, were also killed in the exchange of gunfire. The suspects were reportedly hired killers and involved in the illegal drug trade.

The CMFC has vowed to continue its efforts to bring justice to Patrolman Difuntorum and ensure the safety and security of the community. The police force remains dedicated to upholding the law and protecting the citizens of General Santos City.
