Frustrated by the lack of region-specific coverage in existing national media, the founders envisioned a space where stories from the six regions of Mindanao—CARAGA, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Northern Mindanao, and SOCCSKSARGEN—are not only told but also properly categorized and given due attention.
