Bukidnon, Philippines — A series of intensified anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Bukidnon led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of more than ₱84,000 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Kalilangan and Malaybalay City on May 19–20, 2026.

In Kalilangan, Bukidnon, authorities arrested two suspects identified only as alyas “Victor” and alyas “Juliver” during a buy-bust operation conducted at Purok 1, Barangay Central Poblacion on the evening of May 19, 2026.
The operation was spearheaded by intelligence operatives of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station under the supervision of PLT Richard B. Guibao, in coordination with the 2nd Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, the 1004th Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, and the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit, with support from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Seized from the suspects were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 9.46 grams, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) valued at ₱64,328. Authorities also recovered marked money used in the operation, a cellphone, a pouch, and a Kawasaki Barako motorcycle with a sidecar believed to have been used in the illegal drug activity.
A day later, another successful buy-bust operation was carried out in Malaybalay City, resulting in the arrest of alyas “Adrian” and alyas “Ryan” in Purok 2, Barangay 9 on May 20, 2026.
The operation was conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of Malaybalay City Police Station led by PCPT Lance Elpedio L. Figuracion, in coordination with PDEA Bukidnon, the 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Confiscated from the suspects were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 3.074 grams, with an estimated SDP of ₱20,903.20. Authorities also recovered marked money and a black pouch believed to be used for packaging illegal drugs.
All arrested suspects are now in police custody and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Authorities said the consecutive operations underscore the continuing intensified campaign against illegal drugs across Bukidnon, with coordinated efforts from law enforcement units and anti-narcotics agencies.
