June 19, 2025 — Mindanao — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a weather forecast for Mindanao today, June 19, 2025, warning residents of intermittent rain and thunderstorms in several provinces due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies. A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted 360 km west of Bacnotan, La Union at 3:00 AM.
Affected Areas by Cloudy Skies and Thunderstorms
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail today until tomorrow morning in Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Surigao del Sur, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi due to the ITCZ.
The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms triggered by easterlies. Winds across the region will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal seas ranging between 0.6 to 1.2 meters.

Zamboanga Peninsula
- Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Norte: Partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures: 25-33°C and 24-32°C respectively.
- Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay: Cloudy with rain and thunderstorms expected throughout the day and night. Temps: 22-33°C (day), 23-32°C (night).
- Isabela City: Partly cloudy with occasional rain or thunderstorms. Temps: 24-30°C.
Northern Mindanao
- Bukidnon: Partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms. Temps: 22-32°C.
- Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental: Expect partly cloudy conditions with localized rain showers. Temps: 24-32°C.
Davao Region
- Metro Davao, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Davao de Oro: Widespread cloudy skies with thunderstorms and rainfall. Temperatures range between 24-33°C, with moderate coastal conditions.
SOCCSKSARGEN
- North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani: Consistently cloudy skies with thunderstorms. Daytime highs at 24-32°C.
Caraga Region
- Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands: Mostly cloudy with intermittent rains. Surigao del Sur may experience heavier rainfall and thunderstorms. Temps: 23-32°C.
Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)
- Cotabato City, Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur: Scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Sulu and Tawi-Tawi face more consistent rain. Temps: 23-32°C.
