A bao-bao driver from Pagadian City was shot dead in Barangay Sugod, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte, with authorities now investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing and the whereabouts of the victim’s companion who remains missing.
The victim was identified as Jayson Perdiguez, an adult resident of Barangay Lumad, Pagadian City.
Initial information gathered by the XFM Pagadian Research Department indicated that Perdiguez was traveling aboard his bao-bao toward Lanao del Norte when the shooting occurred. He was reportedly accompanied by another individual at the time of the incident.
The identity of the alleged gunman and the motive for the shooting remain unknown.
Following the shooting, Perdiguez was reportedly brought to a local medical facility in the area in an attempt to save his life. However, he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
His remains were still in Sultan Naga Dimaporo as of the latest information available and were expected to be retrieved by his family for the necessary arrangements.
Companion Remains Missing
Adding another concern to the incident, the individual who was reportedly traveling with Perdiguez has not yet been located.
