LAMITAN CITY, Basilan — A 33-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident on the night of January 2, 2026, in Sitio Patikul, Barangay Matatag, Lamitan City.
Authorities identified the victim as Clemen Falcasantos, a resident of Barangay Sengal. According to the victim’s relatives, the shooting occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. when an unidentified assailant opened fire on Falcasantos. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police officers immediately responded and secured the crime scene as part of the ongoing investigation.
