KIBLAWAN, Davao del Sur — A joint anti-drug operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region XI resulted in the arrest of a suspected marijuana peddler known as alias “Kol,” 42, during a buy-bust operation in Purok 6, Barangay Poblacion, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur, around 9:01 p.m. on October 19, 2025.
According to reports from PDEA Region XI, the suspect initially sold 900 grams of suspected dried marijuana to a poseur buyer. Authorities also recovered another 500 grams of marijuana during the operation. In total, 1.4 kilograms of suspected marijuana with an estimated market value of ₱168,000 were seized from the suspect.
The operation was conducted by PDEA Davao del Sur in coordination with the Kiblawan Municipal Police Station, RPDEU, PIT DavSur, RIU 11, and 2nd DSPMFC. The suspect is currently detained at the Kiblawan Municipal Police Station and is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
